Michael Vick Makes His Opinion On Colin Kaepernick Very Clear

When he first spoke out against the NFL’s controversial player, quarterback Michael Vick reportedly said that Kaepernick must cut his hair to play in the NFL. That statement came under fire for many reasons. One is that he didn’t want people to see his afro. That comment, however, was later clarified during an appearance on the Dan Patrick Show. Now, Vick says that he’s changed his tune.

While many critics believe that Kaepernick is unlikely to make it in the NFL, the Falcons quarterback makes his thoughts on Kaepernick very clear. According to the former NFL quarterback and Level Sports Group partner, Kaepernick’s time in the NFL will come. He has said that Kaepernick should be a backup player for two to three years and show his ability to play when given the opportunity.

“It’s time Colin Kaepernick apologizes for his actions. If he continues to refuse to stand for the national anthem, his future will be in jeopardy,” Vick said. “I think he’s better than many of the backups in the NFL today.”

“Kaepernick’s actions are not good for the NFL.” But, in his case, he was right. The NFL is wrong for allowing Kaepernick to play in the league. He was a good player when he was in the NFL and has been a good community member. He’s even donated $1 million to charity. And Vick is right to make his opinion known.

“Kaepernick is a good guy, but his opinions don’t matter.” He’s not a superstar quarterback, but he still played a great game for six seasons with the San Francisco 49ers. Kaepernick hasn’t played in the NFL since his protests during the national anthem. He’s been a free agent since March and hasn’t been able to lock down a contract with a new team.

Despite Vick’s aversion to Kaepernick’s afro, he has a point. During a recent interview on the Rich Eisen Show, Vick said that he’d like to work with Kaepernick as a free agent. Vick also added that he’s already contacted Kaepernick to get his input on the controversial matter.

In the end, it all comes down to the fact that Colin Kaepernick’s decision to opt-out of his contract is a good thing for his career. Lurie made the right decision in signing him, and the new head coach Kyle Shanahan will be able to create an offensive system that will work for everyone. While it’s still too early to tell whether he’ll sign with the 49ers, it’s a good thing that he did.

A great quarterback would have no problem doing what it takes to help people of color. Colin Kaepernick, who has a total of 12,271 pass yards in five years, is doing his part to improve the lives of African Americans. And he’s doing that with his high profile. His stance on race and racism may even be a part of what makes him a moral conscience for the NFL.
